This year is our biggest yet, as we take the reigns to grow globally and sustainably.

We started the year by bringing our distribution back in house so we can reconnect with our customers and deliver the ultimate HINE experience. We have ventured abroad to discover more sustainable options for our upcoming collections.

This year we proudly introduced another 2 sizes to our collections: XXS & 8XL.

Our very first pop up store in Newmarket had us connecting with a diverse range of women who shared the passion for HINE and the movement we are pushing.

SOMETHING NEEDED TO CHANGE

2018

WHERE IT ALL STARTED

Hine Collection was born out of frustration as a size 16 at the time, when I first started my own health and fitness journey after a health scare, I struggled to find activewear clothing that I could fit. I thought to myself, if I’m having this struggle, just imagine the many other women here in New Zealand and across the world who have this same issue. I couldn’t understand why activewear clothing brands stopped at size 12, when statistics showed that the average size women is a size 14/16.

Something needed to change. Because this was in fact a GLOBAL issue! I was motivated to start a clothing brand to make a difference, to inspire change. I knew there was an opportunity to empower women through clothing, by normalising all body shapes and sizes, and also ethnicities. I genuinely believed that if I could create a size-inclusive brand that normalised this not just in clothing but across our marketing, women would feel represented and seen, which would bring so much more confidence to themselves.

HINE is more than just a clothing brand, It is a movement that was built to inspire change!
